Therapy shaped by creative life

Leaning heavily on emotions, imagination, and personal history is essential for a creative life. The upside is that we live our lives feeling attuned and connected, but there can be flip sides to that too: rejection, dented self-confidence, creative blocks, and overwhelm.

Therapy with a qualified counsellor who truly understands the demands of a creative life and the impact that can have on work and relationships can help you reset and move forward with clarity.

A bit about me

Person-Centred therapist

I’ve spent over 30 years working in film and television as a screenwriter, as well as acting, writing for theatre and working as a musician. I know the exhilaration of creative work – being in the zone, performing, making something meaningful – and I know the lows too.

Now, as a person-centred counsellor, I bring that lived experience into my therapeutic practice. I understand the emotional realities of creative life, and I work with people who want support from someone who genuinely gets it.

“Creative work asks us to draw deeply on who we are. Therapy can help us stay connected to ourselves while we do it.”
